Korean Stationery Haul + Diary keeping chat and review ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ๐Ÿ’–

I have been trying to create a regular diary writing routine for pretty much my entire life, and I have always struggled to keep up with it, being someone who rarely keeps up with anything at all - except maybe my film watching lol.

So in this video, I will discuss some of those struggles as well as show you my new stationery from my favourite website for getting cool and cute Korean stationery brands, FallinDesign - which I have an affiliate discount link for so that you can get 5% off your order (and Iโ€™ll make a tiny commision too)

January Wrap Up: Reading more, Nosferatu, Babygirl + more

January is always a struggle, but I have found myself reading a lot more, which is delightful, to say the least. I'm in the middle of Dune Messiah, I've revisited a manga I really enjoy, I've started Han Kang's newest book, We Do Not Part, and I've delved into the books of my favourite video game, World of Warcraft, which are kinda trash but fun to read.

I saw a grand total of 2 movies in January: Robbert Eggers' gothic horror masterpiece Nosferatu and Nicole Kidman's new movie Babygirl. Both films are about power and desire, which is perhaps interesting in and of itself.

TV show-wise, it's been a delve into The Sympathizer, based on the book of the same name by Viet Thanh Nguyen - Park Chan-wook wrote, produced and partially directed. I also watched 2 Korean dramas that are vastly different in theme but similar in that they both star Ju Ji-hoon, arguably my favourite Korean actor.

November Wrap Up: The Eyes are the Best Part, Gladiator II, The Penguin and Dune: Prophecy + more

This November, I played a lot of Dragon Age: The Veilguard but in between that, I also read a weird cannibal book, The Eyes are the Best Part by Monika Kim and a rubbish French novel.

Then I watched several moviesโ€”incidentally, it was a bit of a James Spader binge-watch that started with Stargate, went to the kinda hilariously bad Storyville, and ended with an old fave, Secretary. Oh, and I also watched Gladiator 2 for the plotโ€”the plot being Pedro Pascal as a Roman general.

And last but not least TV shows, I finally watched The Penguin and have become obsessed with Sofia Falcone's wardrobe. And I'm enjoying the first couple of episodes of Dune: Prophecy.

This week's drinking game is to take a shot every time I mention Twin Peaks, James Spader and use the word insane.
